The Forum of Latin American and Caribbean Countries on Sustainable Development 2022

The Forum of Latin American and Caribbean Countries on Sustainable Development was created in May 2016 as a regional mechanism for the follow-up of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the Sustainable Development Goals, their targets, their means of implementation and the Addis Ababa Action Agenda on Financing for Development.

The Forum was established under the commitment to work relentlessly towards the full implementation of the Agenda by 2030, and the recognition that the eradication of poverty in all its forms and dimensions, including extreme poverty, is the greatest challenge facing the world and is an indispensable requirement for sustainable development, and its commitment to achieve sustainable economic, social and environmental development.
